Great Wolf Lodge

We gifted the boys with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, North Carolina for Christmas. Having never been before, they were so excited to go ride the rides and play in the indoor water park.  Great Wolf Lodge also features an arcade room with a bowling alley though we never made it that far.

We opted for a
themed room, which came with a mini fridge and microwave.  This was perfect because our boys are ALWAYS hungry so we were able to bring plenty of snacks to have on hand.  We took snacks and drinks into the water park too, which saved a ton of money as the concession stands, as you would imagine, are quite pricey.

I registered us for the Wolf Breakfast Buffet but if you are going, know they have a Dunkin' Donuts counter.  Although, while I am not usually a fan of buffet's, this one was very clean and delicious. They offered fruit, waffles, pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, cereals and a make it yourself omelet station.

For dinner, we ordered pizza to our room from one of their take out stands.  There are several restaurants in the local area too if you wanted to go out to eat.

Here is a snippet of our fun~

The boys received wolf ears upon arrival

Hubby got birthday wolf ears when they found out our travel day was also his birthday

Story time at night in the lobby.
My boys had about outgrown this but it was still cute.

The boys loved their "wolf den" bunk beds

The sweet shop was a huge hit

Family fun for everyone!!!  If you are going, you may want to splurge for a cabana.  It was very crowded and took us forever to find a table upon arrival. We had to shove our belongings up against the wall until a table became available.  They do have lockers to store anything valuable.  Fortunately, your wrist band is connected to your debit card and room so you don't need to worry about bringing your wallet or room key.  Cabana's offer a mini fridge, tables & chairs and a T.V.

The boys were thrilled.  I can't wait to see their faces this spring when we tell them they are going to Disney!!!
