Creek House

We had the pleasure of being guests at our friend's family creek house that is really is an amazing compound.  Over the years, her parents have acquired the adjacent properties that comprise a private drive along the banks of the New River in Ashe County, North Carolina.  So with two other families in the caravan, we overtook
the property for fishing, playing, good food and fellowship.

View from the main cabin

The kids ate
 Played games

Went Fishing, tubing, swam
Here is Harrison's first rainbow trout!!!

Spencer reeled in his first fish once Daddy helped get it on the line

We enjoyed a low country boil for our host's birthday dinner

And used up left over sparklers by the fire pit telling stories and eating smores

Two minutes after pulling out - a sign of a good weekend playing hard

Just a few days to knock out some work and then we are off to the beach!!!  Loving these fun-filled summer days.

xoxo,
TSS
